Cinnamon Vanilla French Toast


Another one of our favorite breakfasts! Top it with some homemade jam or buttermilk caramel syrup.

4 eggs
1/2 C milk
3 TB flour
2 TB sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
6-8 thick slices of bread

In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients except the bread. The batter may be slightly lumpy because of the flour, but that's okay! Dip the bread in the batter on both sides and place on your griddle. Cook for a few minutes, then flip them over and cut them in half with your spatula to make triangles (see picture below--I like to do this to prevent any soggy middles).  Cook until done on the other side, top with your favorite toppings, and enjoy!
