Taco Seasoning

Here's a recipe for homemade taco seasoning. The kind from the store was too spicy for my kids, so I adapted the one here to make it more mild. Use this recipe just as you would a seasoning packet from the store. Totals about 2 TB.

Ingredients
1 TB chili powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Directions
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Cook 1 lb hamburger until the pink is almost gone and add the seasoning plus 1/4 C water. Simmer about 10 minutes.
